Kunlun in nature
Today I would like to answer the question of doing Kunlun in nature. I myself like to do Kunlun in nature, near a waterfall because of the negative ions that come from the water splashing on the rocks, and the sun empowering the water. Breathe in the mist, feel the coolness of the water, experiencing the moment.
Another place is high up in the mountain where the Qi is cool and fine, much as in areas found in temples high in the mountains. Never go to a valley, where you see the mist settled below the flat of the land, we call this “poison qi”, the toxins that settled to the earth during the cool night, within this mist are various toxins that were suspended in the air from the day before.
I would find a log and sit down, first covering the place i would sit with a blanket for comfort, but making sure that I never would sit out in the sunlight of the mid-day sun, because of the negative aspects relating to the mid-day heat of the sun.
If your in the forest, sitting under an evergreen tree, such as a spruce, or pine or juniper tree is also great, because your magnetic field aligns with the tree, which also should be standing straight, never use a bent tree, also the evergreen filters your qi making you feel good, try hugging a tree, open the kunlun in the heart, and connect it with the tree, you may even feel a strong pull from the tree.
If you’re wanting to expose yourself to the sun and do kunlun, you can do this exposure either within one hour after sunrise, or one hour before the sun goes down.
The reason for this time is that the harmful Uv rays will not be present at this time, so the exposure to the skin is safe. I like doing kunlun at this time, exposing the bare skin to the arising or setting sun is healthy for you and the burning heat of the sun is not present , which is not really good for you.
When doing kunlun, or any of the methods I taught to you, keep the child-like nature, feel the wind, listen to the sounds of nature, and just let go and be “natural”, just being in the moment. and being ” no-where” as you let go.
Be careful that there are no rocks, or branches, or sharp objects where you are doing the methods, be safe, so you do not fall onto anything if you fall off your seat.
Remember you are nature, you came from nature, some of you may have fears of sitting alone in nature, if that is the case bring a friend to share in the experience, go out, do not speak, communicate by feeling, by your smiles, and enjoy what nature has to offer you…….
